Squirrel Scouts are young people usually aged between four and six years old. They belong to the first and youngest Section in the Scouting family. Young people can join Squirrel Scouts from their fourth birthday. They can move to the next Section, Beaver Scouts, between five years nine months and six years six months.

Easily recognised by their distinctive red sweatshirts, Squirrels will gather to grow and learn their way through lots of different games and activities. The 3rd Exmouth Squirrel Scout Drey will meet together once a week on a Monday from September 2025.

Squirrel Scouts take part in outdoors activities, fun, games, badges, laughter, and so much more to help our youngest members learn the skills they need for life)
